Character limit:
Most product categories must have titles no longer than 200 characters, including spaces.

Special characters:
The use of !, $, ?, _, {, }, ^, ¬, and ¦ is prohibited unless they are part of the brand name.

Word repetition:
Titles may not contain the same word more than twice, with exceptions for prepositions, articles, and conjunctions.

What Sellers Need To Do:

• Review and update non-compliant titles before January 21, 2025.
• Use the "Manage All Inventory" or "Review Listing Updates" tools in Seller Central to fix any issues.
• Brand owners will receive correction suggestions and have 14 days to act before Amazon automatically updates titles.

Penalties and Enforcement:

• Non-compliant titles may lead to listing suppressions.
• After the grace period, Amazon will automatically adjust non-compliant titles.
• Listings will remain active during the update process, but sellers may lose control over their titles if they don't act promptly
